Welcome to this special online learning section of our website. Thank you for taking the time to discover what we offer in terms of free online learning support for our customers and the broader language learning community.

We define ourselves not as a traditional school travel company but a language learning destination to which schools travel.

When travel to France was impossible, we increased our focus on the virtual world. This shift allowed us to travel to you and your classrooms. It enabled us to continue to be a language learning destination simply in a different form.

We intend that these freely distributed resources, many of them born out of the mayhem of the pandemic, will remain a potent source of support to language teachers for years to come.

Our online mission is to make Burgundy and the language learning opportunities ever-present here accessible to everyone.

One to One Lessons or Conversations

For pupils, parents and teachers at all levels. Our enthusiastic and experienced native French speaking teachers will provide fun and engaging individual online tutoring. We will tailor the provision to personal goals or exam requirements as necessary.

For anyone who just wants to improve their spoken French and is happy to share this with a group of others at a similar level. We can offer a group class with up to 5 other people of a similar level. This offer is dependent on take up.

Can we help your school ? We are able to offer online French lessons and activities for whole classes, groups or individuals. We can also organise a pen pal exchange and virtual meet up with a local French school. Please do contact us and we can discuss how we can offer a French experience for your pupils within your budget.

French Speaking Staffroom

Why not pay a visit to the Maison Claire Fontaine virtual French staff room - a forum for French teachers or other French enthusiasts to speak French together and share discussions on topics of your choice. Our French teachers will aim to provide a relaxed atmosphere in which participants feel at ease to share opinions and practice their French speaking skills. There is no charge for this offer.
